  2. Choose a layout: top to bottom, side by side, or a grid with 2, 3 or 4 columns.
  3. Decide whether to make the images the same width or height, and pick the space between them and the background color. The preview updates as you go.

Questions

My images are different sizes. What happens?
You can make them match the smallest image (nothing is enlarged), match the largest, or keep their original sizes. With original sizes, empty space is filled with the background color.
Can I add space between the images?
Yes. Choose none, 10, 20 or 40 pixels, and pick a background color for the gaps: white, black, a custom color, or transparent when saving as PNG.
Will the combined image lose quality?
Saved as PNG, the result is lossless. Images are only resized when you choose to match sizes, and shrinking uses step-by-step scaling to stay sharp. JPG uses the quality you choose, 100% by default.
Is there a limit to how big the result can be?
Results larger than about 16 megapixels are scaled down to fit, because browsers, especially on iPhone, cannot create bigger images. The tool tells you when this happens.
Are my images uploaded?
No. The images are combined in your browser and never leave your device.
