WebP to PNG Converter

Turn WebP images into PNG files that open almost anywhere. PNG is lossless and supports transparency, so transparent areas stay transparent and the pixel size does not change. Files are converted in your browser and never uploaded.

Step 1: Add your WebP files

Loading the tool…One moment — files never leave your device

Step 2: Choose settings

Nothing to set — PNG is lossless, so the converted image keeps full quality.

Step 4: Download your new files

Your new files will appear here after you press “Convert to PNG”.

  3. Download each PNG, or save them all at once as a ZIP.

Questions

Is transparency kept?
Yes. PNG supports transparency, so transparent areas in your WebP images stay transparent in the PNG files.
Will the PNG look different from the WebP?
No. PNG is lossless, so the converted image matches what the WebP shows, at the same pixel size.
Why is the PNG file bigger?
WebP usually compresses images more tightly than PNG. Each result shows its size next to the original so you can compare.
Can I convert a batch of WebP files?
Yes. Add several files, press Convert once, and use Download all (.zip) or Save to a folder in browsers that support it.
Do my files leave my computer?
No. All processing happens in your browser, and nothing is uploaded.
